opinions on whether to get a belt for this dress

I'm attending a daytime wedding next week-end, will be a garden type setting if weather plays ball. Not too formal but need to look smartish. I am pear-shaped and dresses which are fitted on top and cinch in my narrowest part (rib area) and then skim over the tummy and hips etc always look best on me. So I have bought this dress (Daryn fit & flare from monsoon) uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/mon_1,mon_1.2/8421890810
and although it looks nice it just seems to be missing something when it's on. I am contemplating an obi belt to just smarten it up a bit but am really unsure as this is quite different from my usual look (plain, I don't usually do much accessorizing apart from a bit of jewellery!). I'm also worried I may be mixing too many different styles etc. I will be wearing pretty sandals with a low heel in antique gold and have a small bag that goes well with the shoes.
Opinions please! I was thinking about this type of belt: www.asos.com/search/obi-belt?q=obi+belt&pgesize=36 not sure which colour to look for either!

I like this one. Or maybe something in plum would be better.

Quite like a lot of the stuff on there actually.

Should have said, in the brown that's in the picture, not black.

It's a lovely belt but personally, I don't think it works with the style of the dress.

I don't think it needs a belt. It's a lovely dress Smile
