Face pack? Hair pack? New nail polish? Magazine?

lucysmam · 23/08/2015 19:26

Meant to say, Wine is not included in this budget, I will buy that on my food shop this week since I need less food shopping.

Pizza and a kindle book.

Judydreamsofhorses · 23/08/2015 19:32

I'd get cheap bath bubbles (I like Imperial Leather), a glossy magazine to read in the bath, and some nailpolish. Bath, then manicure and pedicure, and a glass of wine later. (I am also v partial to eating Percy Pugs in the bath.)

WipsGlitter · 23/08/2015 20:26

Those sachet face packs. I find Poundland good for this sort of thing!!

greenpinkorange · 23/08/2015 21:54

I'd buy/rent a movie.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 23/08/2015 21:56

Colouring book

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/08/2015 22:33

Book, DVD and bubble bath.

treaclesoda · 23/08/2015 22:35

Face mask and new nail polish. And nice chocolate Smile

lucysmam · 23/08/2015 22:37

Ooh, colouring book is a good one! I keep eyeing them up in the Window of WHSmiths as I walk past.

Wonder if I could stretch my budget to bubble bath, nail polish, colouring book and pizza.

I shall have a hunt and see what I can find.

I have a fab carbonated clay mask - it bubbles on your face Grin no idea how it does it but it's very entertaining.

Biscuits. Preferably fancy chocolate covered ones.

AngelaRipp0n · 23/08/2015 22:40

I saw the title and thought I bet that's Lucysmam Grin.

lucysmam · 23/08/2015 23:05

Grin it's bike ride weekend! I will mainly be refereeing several small folks during the day and pampering me on an evening!

RavioliOnToast · 23/08/2015 23:08

ooh, go to the poundshop, get a box of malteasers and a hair mask £2
mua nail Polish £1
sainsburys/asda for a pizza £4ish
kindle book £3 (if you hunt around Grin)

MariusPontmercy · 23/08/2015 23:11

I don't know which is bleaker, that you only have ten pounds, or that you have to wait until your boyfriend is away to do anything for yourself Confused

RJnomaaaaaargh · 23/08/2015 23:14

Oh ffs Marius

lucysmam · 23/08/2015 23:15

Urm, when did I say I had to wait for him to go away to do anything for myself?

We each have a tenner a week - he's saved his to go away, I want to spend mine on some relaxing treats for the weekend. 'sup with that?

OP posts:
lucysmam · 23/08/2015 23:16

There's always one I suppose Hmm

OP posts:
CremeEggThief · 23/08/2015 23:16

Uncalled for, Marius. Sometimes the best treats are free or cost very little.

RavioliOnToast · 23/08/2015 23:31

Oh Marius, you seem like such a fucking joy Hmm

whattodohatethis · 23/08/2015 23:33

Oh Marius cheer up.

OP go to the pound shop;
Malteasers
Face mask
Radox bath stuff
Candle

Then a trashy magazine, wine and Netflix :D

Bettyhen · 23/08/2015 23:38

I saw the works has bargain adult colouring books

onemightywizard · 24/08/2015 00:09

lucysmam if you are free to meet in town centre one day this week, i can gift you a bunch of face masks, foot masks, bath stuff etc. NOT because you're a charity case i hasten to add but because i have a massive surplus of stuff and i genuinely need rid of some of it. people keep buying me pampering stuff and i have so so much of it, way more than i can get through before i know i'll be given a load more at xmas time. I won't be at all offended if you'd rather not though.

chanie44 · 24/08/2015 07:28

Foot oil socks - poindshop.

You can download some free colouring in sheets online if you wanted to give it a go before committing to buying a book.

Badders123 · 24/08/2015 07:40

Rent a DVD, buy some nice chocs or something savoury, and some lovely bubble bath?
