If you had £30 to spend at clinique what would you buy?

Clinique have offered me a gift of up to £30 as a good will gesture.

What would you recommend? I have combination skin, and I like the eye cream and moisture surge moisturiser.

Was thinking of the cleansing balm or the Turnaround Daytime Revitalizing Moisturiser.

Any suggestions very welcome :)

Foundation for me.

Luck you!

Nabootique · 21/08/2015 15:50

Ahh, I was going to say the Moisture Surge moisturiser! Lovely stuff Smile

My other favourite is the Black Honey Almost Lipstick, although the cleansing balm and the oil version are meant to be very good and I do want to try them.

gilmoregirl · 21/08/2015 16:05

ooh thank you.

What type of foundation would you recommend lava? I have the BB and I quite like that but could do with a proper foundation as well.

Also have the black honey almost lipstick nab and the matching nail polish which is v handy for my poor bruised toe nails Grin

oh decisions. decisions. Want to spend exactly £30 if poss!

Moisture surge moisturiser

Nabootique · 21/08/2015 16:12
Hmm
Pjran · 21/08/2015 16:21

I buy their foundation, it's pretty good coverage and I use it sparingly so it lasts. Although expensive it really is false economy buying cheaper products.

Pjran · 21/08/2015 16:24

Just a thought please Ask the shop assistant for some sample pots of the foundation to try at home. My last lot of samples lasted a couple of weeks. I always use a brush to apply.

AngelaRipp0n · 21/08/2015 16:48

I'd go for the pore poly filler stuff, can't remember what it's called and a chubby stick lippy.

PrimalLass · 21/08/2015 18:03

Moisture Surge Overnight Mask. I use it every day.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/08/2015 18:06

The red perfume is v nice.

Wolpertinger · 21/08/2015 19:16

Combination skin - Mild Clarifying Lotion without a doubt. One of the best salicylic toners on the market.

Then I'd blow the rest expanding my Chubby Stick collection Grin

MsVestibule · 21/08/2015 23:19

I used a Clinique Chubby Stick years ago, but found it very drying. Is it still drying, or have they changed the formula?

Twinklestein · 21/08/2015 23:23

Their foundation isn't very good compared to other brands.

Moisture surge is ok. I think probably the old Dramatically Different Moisturising cream is probably the best value.

Steer clear of clarifying lotion - it kills your skin it's so strong.

Their new Chubby Stick Baby Tint lip colour is fun.

DarylDixonsDarlin · 22/08/2015 00:16

I came on to say moisture surge if they still sell it, I stopped using their products as they seemed to be discontinuing everything I liked! But my skin loves moisture surge Smile

travailtotravel · 22/08/2015 09:03

The City Block SPF stuff is really good. I also use the 'polyfiller' for pores ...

AngelaRipp0n · 22/08/2015 10:08

Msvestibule I don't find the chubby sticks drying at all, I find them lighter and more like a lip gloss without th stickiness.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/08/2015 21:28

I'm an idiot! The red perfume is Clarins. At Clinique, I like the eyeliners best.

TSSDNCOP · 22/08/2015 21:34

Easy: Stellar Plum lip gloss and a High Impact mascara. Or Dramitically Different pump moisturiser.

Sansoora · 22/08/2015 21:37

Chubby Stick collection

I just ordered some of these today in the hope it will help with the fact Im half bloody blind and putting on eye shadow with a brush and powder is a nightmare.

They look great.

StatisticallyChallenged · 22/08/2015 22:30

chubby stick lips or the cleansing balm.

gilmoregirl · 23/08/2015 18:03

Thanks very much everyone lots of suggestions. I could definitely use some of the polly filla. Just got one of the high impact mascara as a present which I do like so could stock up.

Think have narrowed it down to moisture surge or polly filla.

Chubby sticks (almost lipstick) are magic for me.

Not drying, and "like your own lips but better"

Karcheer · 23/08/2015 18:31

I like their take the day off cleansing balm and Clarifying Lotion Mild.
