Leather/fabric?
Colour?
Budget?

I've recently been given lots of suggestions for leather but I guess it depends what you want/what you'll use it for.

I have recently returned from holiday and used my large zipped tote a Bessie Bag every day - it was perfect for the job.

I bought it from here

It pains me to admit but the very best holdall I've ever bought was a black wheely one for about £12 from Argos and was purchased after I'd over shopped considerably on a weekend away.

I travel a lot and so in fairness my luggage receives a battering but it's seen off several sets including Antler & Samsonite Shock

Try Mia Tui - they have great bags of all sizes and have won awards for them being really practical.

They all have brightly coloured insides so you don't lose things in dark depths, they're waterproof inside and out, have loads of pockets on the inside and some on the outside too, plus they come with separate little bags that fit inside the pickets so you can be extra organised - both clear for customs if going abroad and the same colour as the bag that you can use as a mini clutch handbag if you wanted to, which is handy.

No, I don't work for them but I do have several of their bags, which I love and get complimented on when I use them.

Find them at www.miatui.com and also look at their Facebook and Twitter pages as they often have special offers.

A slightly more expensive option is the Longchamp Le Pliage. I personally love Kipling bags. Amazon usually has some good deals.

Blondie1984 · 16/08/2015 15:20

Not cheap but love my longchamps one - on a cost per use basis it has been one of my best ever purchases

Tweezertastic · 16/08/2015 16:38

To max is worth a tryboth online and instore

Twinkie1 · 16/08/2015 16:41

Just this afternoon I bought an extra large Longchamps le pillage travel bag as my beach bag broke. Did lots of research and they well worth the cost apparently.

Bill Brown Bags, am an absolute fan and they are inexpensive but very good quality.

Sleepyfergus · 16/08/2015 17:00

Interested in this too. Just looked at the Mia Tui bags and whilst they sound sensible and have lots of little thoughtful extras, for me they're a bit fugly! Sorry!

I bought a zipped oilcloth bag from Accessories for our last family holiday. I highly recommend it. It cost about £25 and had long enough straps to go over my shoulder.

alwaysalaughtobehad · 16/08/2015 20:12

Do the longchamps one have a zip - they do look practical! I love the mia tui ones too - thanks for the ideas everyone!

Always - If you like the Mia Tui bags, this offer has just popped up on my facebook feed:

Mia Tui Summer Madness - Get 25% off the website with code SUMMER25

Always helps to get a good discount!
I've also signed up for their mailing list - sometimes they have seconds that they sell for half price or less; the one I bought most recently had a tiny mark on it that you really wouldn't notice without looking carefully, so a good way to try them out! They often put details onto their facebook page too.

Thanks guzzlewump!
