shoes, bag and accessories with this dress?

A little help please! Going to a wedding in this dress.

The shoes and bag in the photo are lovely. However not for me. It's too much pink. Also I prefer chunkier shoes (to go with my legs!). Platforms with a chunky heel an round toe, without ankle straps.

Would gold / silver shoes or sandals go? Or if not, what colour? And what sort of bag? And jewellery?

I'm useless at this, please help! Also on a bit of a budget, don't want to spend more than 60 on everything! Thank you X

I would just do tan shoes and bag, a clutch is nice for weddings as long as it's not pointlessly small. Metallics might clash with the pretty floweriness of the dress I think.

Maybe some pretty earrings. When I have tan/nude shoes I prefer gold to silver usually.

Thanks Miz. I do have a pair of tan sandals with block heel, but they're a bit tatty and they have an ankle strap which I don't think are very flattering to my leg.

I never know whether gold or silver works so thanks.

Will have a look. God I hate shopping, can't wait until it's all over and done with!

Thanks, I agree, they aren't the most elegant! I just want something to elongate my legs, that aren't stiletto. Can do wedge or block heel. If block heel I'd prefer a platform too. Can't find anything!!

Just had to Google. I adore them. And thinking wine colour might be nail on head.

My only reservation is the strap going across, won't they have the effect of stunting my legs? My legs are already stubby.

mj tstrap or single strap is across the foot ,so not shortening. Actually the tstrap has a lengthening effect IMO .

With my dresses I always try to accessories to the minimal colour.
I would use a dark green clutch bag
And dark green shoes
Dark green glitter nails

I really, really like the idea of dark green shoes and bag. Ideally that's the look I'd go for. But can't find anything I like.

Sally, thank you, but those shoes are a bit light in colour and also its abroad so it's going to be hot, I'll need sandals really.

I can't link on this phone but just checked on EBay and there are loads of green shoes and clutch bags on there. You'll certainly be able to stay within your budget

Yes you will they are probably a 4 inch heel with the platform at the toe bit. They will go with the dress

I won the green shoes! And of course now worried I made the wrong decision.

Estimated delivery is Monday so will try on with dress and decide for sure.

Love that bag (adore vintage stuff) but not sure it'll go with the outfit? I think I should maybe go with something plainer - maybe like an envelope clutch thing?
