Can you recommend me a good hairdryer?

I'm looking for a high-wattage, lightweight hairdryer. I have fine hair in a bob, which needs volume but don't use accessories such as diffusers or rollers, but would find a concentrator nozzle/narrow opening helpful.

I only spend 5-10mins on my hair daily

There seem to be so many on the market & I don't know where to start.

Babyliss boutique is the best, most powerful hair dryer I've used. I'm currently using a parlux as I lost the filter off the back of the babyliss and needed to replace it. It's ok but IMO the babyliss is much better.

I have a Parlux 385 power light.
Fantastic hairdryer, takes me 5 minutes to do my hair .

Parlux 3200 compact. Powerful but not lightweight though. They are the ones the salons use.

Hmm. I have a parlux. It is fairly heavy, and gets too hot: I've singed my hair on it before. Used on the low setting it's fine.

I recently bought a parlux 385. It's very good and extremely light but I'm not sure it was worth the money.

Do you know anybody who has a Sally's Hair and Beauty card? They have VAT free days occasionally so it would work out cheaper.

I have a parlux too. That along with having my hair Japanese straightened every six months and every day is a good day for hair. Hair is the one thing it's really work spending extra on as it makes a huge difference to your appearance.

Ok, it's Payday today thank fuck and I'm seriously considering a splurge on a Parlux.

But are they really worth it if you have fine/short (bobbed) hair, which normally requires styling? It normally dries fairly quickly so I'm wondering if there really is benefit in this?

Or are ETI ones just as good? I've also noticed some 5-star rated hairdryers on Amazon for 1/2 the price & am swithering if these are better options?

Parlux. just no contest. I have lots of very fine hair OP. its currently shoulder length and tbh the parlux is the best hairdryer I have ever owned. it makes drying quick and since its so powerful, really good volume. they are also bombproof so should last ages.

Parlux - i have the 3800, my hair is so soft and it dries in no time

Amazon have the 3200 for £70. There are some cheaper ones on EBay but it looks like they're perhaps reconditioned

Oooh I've never heard of parlux! I can't find the nozzle attachment for my otherwise brilliant tresemme ion blah blah blah one. My hair is very very thick and curly/wavy/unruly.

Which parlux is best?
