Afternoon tea at The Savoy, what to wear with flat shoes ????????

I'm going to The Savoy for afternoon tea at the end of this month but I haven't a clue what to wear.

I will be doing a lot of walking and travelling by tube therefor I need to wear flat shoes

I have a lovely jersey navy and cream wrap dress but no shoes, and I am conscious of looking frumpy as I am only 5ft 4 and apple shaped.

Help !!

These are obviously not flat, but would be quite comfy to walk in, and wouldn't look frumpy with your dress.

1950s style eg LindyBop with pumps.

We went for tea at the savoy earlier in the year and i wore skinny trousers, ballet pumps and a sleeveless blouse... There werent that many people particularly dressed up tbh

Lindybop is definitely not my style ancient, I'm a bit more of a classic/sexy look sort of girl but thank you x

Just wear what you feel comfy in. Other people will be engaged with what they are doing.

Wear what you like, there won't be many people dressed up . Have funSmile

Cigarette pants and a crisp shirt?

ancientbuchanan · 04/08/2015 22:43

Check they don't have a dress code. But otherwise jeans and crisp white shirt and flatties.

I like the idea of cigarette pants, they allow smart casual but I prefer not to wear jeans I think
