Is mixing colours of leather in any way okay?

...because I'm guessing not.

I have a black leather biker jacket which I love and wear a lot in autumn/winter (I layer it up as I'm very short so most coats swap me length wise). I am coveting a gorgeous brown leather handbag and I want it for Christmas that upcoming festive occasion we shall not mention. It will go with the khaki parka I occasionally wear but I much prefer my biker - please tell me I don't have to chose between bag and jacket? I can wear both together, right?

If not I need another waterproof cropped jacket that doesn't make me look like my grandmother-in-law. Say it ain't so!

It's fine. Honestly. Amybody who says it isn't clearly hasn't got enough important things to worry about.

Yes. I think you can. If the styles work together the colours will be fine.

No they definitely work!

Yes tan and black leather work very well together as long as the styles match.
