Tom Ford Black Orchid Perfume

I'm trying to find Tom Ford Black Orchid but none of the major retailers seem to have any deals on - does anyone know of a legit seller that won't break the bank? I'll get it from John Lewis of need be, but I'd rather save a couple of quid without ending up with fake rubbish that smells like cat pee Grin

Black orchid eau de parfum is on wowcher at the moment - still an eye-watering 79 pounds for 100 ml though. I love this scent!

I've got the Neroli Portofino oil on now and I'm impressed so far. I applied it at 8am and I can still smell it but it's not overpowering.

I'm not sure about this Black Orchid.... Can't even describe what it smells like!

squoosh · 05/08/2015 10:27

I ordered a copy of Ralph Lauren's Romance. It smells a bit like it but it's not quite there.

rubyflipper · 05/08/2015 10:51

I wasn't wild about the Black Orchid - the top note in the spray didn't agree with me, but it smelled better the longer it was on my skin.

I have now ordered the spray version of Neroli Portofino (£8 for 30ml) so that I can see what it smells like when I layer it with the oil. I haven't smelled the original, but as it costs £150 a bottle, I'm not likely to Smile.

I have also ordered the little oil bottles of Dove and Camay soap fragrances; and some Jo Malone copies.

I was considering getting the NP spray instead as it's such a fresh, spritzy kind of fragrance. Wimped out and stuck with the oil instead, should be here tomorrow...

rubyflipper · 05/08/2015 16:57

Mrs Bojangles - the NP oil is still going strong on me and I applied it at 8am.

MsBojangles · 07/08/2015 21:05

I'm wearing it today, it's bloody good stuff!

The little roller bottles are kind of sad though, the NP bottle is sooo beautiful - I'm a sucker for the pretty, but for the price it's unbeatable.

It doesn't make me itch either which is a bonus - Jo Malone Orange Blossom, I'm looking at you.

I have just received my first order from perfume parlour of a creed perfume which I adore but way too £££££ for me. It's exactly the same!!! I'm thrilled as I've been lusting over this for years!

rubyflipper · 12/08/2015 16:29

In the interests of research, I squirted some of the Neroli Portofino on my wrists at John Lewis this lunchtime.

The Perfume Parlour version smells almost identical and lasts a bit longer on my wrists. The original NP fragrance had disappeared after two hours.

Can't wait to try it! Thanks for doing essential research Wink
