expat have you ever been to the markies in Perth

it is a brilliant marks

Cod I am worried about you. First Monsoon, now Per Una.

boboggglimpopo · 21/11/2006 16:17

I would wear the top and the skirt with far too much make up and smouldery eyes. The capelet (even teh word 'caplet)) is vom.

TheHighwayCod · 21/11/2006 16:17

ooo, np! thanks for the word up. we're going to perth at the weekend if dd1 gets better - she's got nasty croup just now.

i was really disappointed w/their accesories in edin, NP. i was looking for a beret and some fingerless gloves/handwarmers.

they SO didn't have good ones.

TheHighwayCod · 21/11/2006 16:18

beret and some fingerless gloves/handwarmers

give her some slack

FIMBO · 21/11/2006 16:27

M & S in Perth . Oh NP it is about half the size of Edinburgh and isn't any better imo. (I used to live in Perth).

FIMBO · 21/11/2006 16:27

Oxford Street M & S is shambolic too.

expatinscotland · 21/11/2006 16:28

My half-French mother has always worn a beret.

It looks so fab on her. So I tried one on and John Lewis w/two friends who are honest and they liked that look on me.

B/c I am middle-aged and part French.

expatinscotland · 21/11/2006 16:31

You'd have thought they were giving away cocaine in the M&S on Saturday.

You couldn't turn round in there.

It was dire and I ran out.

nailpolish · 21/11/2006 16:31

sorry fimbo but i totally disagree

the markies in Perth may not be huge but it has great stock - they must have great buyers who choose what to put in their shop very well

go and have a look expat while you are there

nailpolish · 21/11/2006 16:32

fimbo i think this has someting to do with the fact that you and i have totally different tastes

you would probably [prefer everything in the edinburgh shitey m and s

FIMBO · 21/11/2006 16:32

Fight fight fight (pulls two fingers across face at NP}

expatinscotland · 21/11/2006 16:32

I do agree the Edinburgh M&S is shite.

FIMBO · 21/11/2006 16:34

I only like Limited Collection, Autograph and the odd Per Una thing in M & S everything else is for old people.

nailpolish · 21/11/2006 16:34

uch fimbo im fed up of you slagging off everything i say

sorry

FIMBO · 21/11/2006 16:37

Come on NP lets be pals
