....a very old (about 22 yrs) Jeagar Jacket?

It's Dark green velvet, slightly military in style with sort of braid on the edge. It has slightly puffed sleeves and I would wear it with a very plain black dress from Tesco

I never thought it would fit me again and had packed it away for my DD....I have lost so much weight it now fits again

i would say yes. assuming it's not tatty being that old. don't see the problem.

I've got a feeling green velvet is back in... I know nothing about these things though!!

I spent about an hour steaming it with a kettle

I bought it when I was 16 it had been £129 reduced to £29 and it cost me 3 weeks wages

I alwats loved it - but only wore it ocasionally as I kept it for "best" - then I got fat

Its sounds gorgeous. Definatly wear it!

I'm quite miffed, I finally got rid of my goooooooooorgeous green velvet job (charity shop find when I was at college ) about a year ago... now they come back .

you know yourself better than anyone. If you felt good in it the you would have looked great iykwim. Ditch the style guru wish I could get in a jacket from when I was 16

your style guru was probably jealous...
