I know this has been done to death on youtube, but I want real,views rather than what you're paid to have in there.

I seem to be swapping bags a lot at the mo, and I'm forever forgetting things, so I'm thinking of getting a smaller essentials bag I can just swap over and maybe a parred down makeup bag.

In mine today I've purse, keys, phone, loyalty cards, chewing gum, poo bags, dog treats, anti bac gel, random receipts and notes...

I carry a smallish handbag at the moment because I also carry a laptop bag for work.

So, phone, Kindle, purse, pen, lip balm and a lip stain, work access card, keys. Anthisan is an addition this week due to a huge mossie bite on my knee.

There are some scrunched up receipts in the bottom. Sometimes a cereal bar so I don't succumb to a Pret almond croissant.

That's it. I like to travel light, I hate carrying lots, it feels literally like baggage to me and stresses me out. Bit weird for a handbag lover!

The thing that annoys me about what I keep in my hand bag is a little hair brush. I don't know went I bought it. I never use it. It's a great brush but i don't need to brush my hair when I'm out. The other day I hurt myself inthe brush while digging in my bag. And i still feel I shouldn't get rid of it in case is needed some day! For what it's worth my bag is otherwise clean of old or unnecessary items!

That is me travelling light, my work bag weighs a tonne and has everything I might need for any eventuality ever, this thread has motivated me to have a sort out and try to de-clutter it a bit, I might have a bag in my car boot with all of the bits and bobs in it and try to just carry essentials ?!
