Hair straighteners - anything good and not too expensive

OK, after many loyal years with my Remington straighteners, it's time for some new ones.
I've had GHDs in the past and they are no good.
Has anyone got any suggestions what would be a good replacement?
Anyone discovered anything cheap and cheerful that works brilliantly?
Thank you

Oh yeah - I have thick curly hair so they need to be robust!

I've got some pink 'vibe' straighteners from Amazon, they were £20. I think ebay do them too, and honestly they are the BEST straighteners I've ever used, and I've had ghd and fhi's etc.

I am on my second remmington pair after two pairs of useless GHDs on long, thick, wavy hair... Stick with what you know.

Diva is an excellent brand and they are often in tk maxx Smile

I have these and they are faultless.

I got This set
I've not used them as yet as it's too humid and no point straightening.
I'll let you know how they are once I've used them.
