In case anyone cares.....

I hope there will be a code around as there are a couple of things I want to try and although have done a preview order and will likely exchange, some items from it are not in stock yet.

There is a meagre 10% code. A9U7
Not sure if it works for everyone or not.

Their skirts and dresses are getting shorter every season.

I find this, so I always get the Long sizes, in spite of only being 5'5".

BikeRunSki · 13/07/2015 14:10

Got the new catalogue, very exited. Looked through it, totally non plused. There isn't a thing it I'd buy.

mirpuppet · 13/07/2015 14:21

Agree re lengths. I'm 5'4 and regularly buy Tall.

GeorginaWorsley · 13/07/2015 16:32

Not keen on much at all.
Too much pattern and check for me.
The metallic super skinnies are okay but pricey.
In fact prices have increased a lot I think.

Also the sale was rubbish.and it hasn't properly gone to 75 per cent off stuff like it usually does before the new range arrives.
Some things have dropped but am convinced not as much as usual

Talisin · 13/07/2015 16:52

I'm strangely drawn to the pigeon shirt.

pinkfrocks · 13/07/2015 18:07

It's all mine then :)
I feel a bit more optimistic this time if anything fits. There are a few trousers that might fit the bill for me and some knitwear. Also a couple of dresses.

I filled my fantasy shopping basket and it came to over £600 if I ordered everything I want. Shock Going to have to narrow down a lot before actually ordering!

woodhill · 13/07/2015 20:03

gone off Boden. have bought loads over the last 10 years'

isntthatapippip · 13/07/2015 20:44

This collection seems a bit off, they normally have a bit more colour going on. However I'm sure I will be able to find something to buy. Glad to see the return of some nice merino knit wear which I have missed the last few seasons.

GeorginaWorsley · 13/07/2015 22:51

See I'm a strictly neutral type of girlWink and I don't like all the pattern!
It all seems so 60s and not in a good way.
On a closer examination of catalogue and website I quite like the slouchy silk mix jumper and I do find their skinny jeans good.
I'm still wearing the Bistro trousers from last year, I haven't fancied any of the Chelsea ones though.

Dancergirl · 13/07/2015 23:49

Couple of things have caught my eye - I like the zip sleeve jumper in black and white, and the cambridge skirt.

dirtyprettything · 14/07/2015 07:20

They have changed the rainy day Mac from a nipped in style which really suited me to an a-line style Angry

pinkfrocks · 14/07/2015 07:57

Georgina I'm with you- we buy from the same places!- but I think this season's offerings are more subdued. I'm keen to try around 3 styles of skinny trousers (not jeans), and a couple of dresses that have patterns but smaller prints and in soft colours.
Likewise there are some jumpers etc in a soft pink shade worth a try- usually the shades are too harsh for my colouring.

I have had an email to say a jumper is on its way- but other items including the pea coat are not due till end Sept. Just so you know!

GeorginaWorsley · 14/07/2015 08:45

Pink I think we do!Smile
I'm interested in the new nude pink colour they are doing but not sure it will suit me.
I'm an autumn Winknd I think it may wash me out.
The slouchy silk jumper is reminiscent of sort of thing my favourite haunts do well, White Company, Mint Velvet,Cos etc so will order and see.
The darker colour will probably be better for me though.
Agree re trousers.

pinkfrocks · 14/07/2015 09:18

I'm not sure about the pink either:) some pinks - on the nude side- wash me out as they just blend with my pale hair and skin, so I'd have to order and try on. The colours online and in the catalogue are different so it's hard to tell.

Deeznutz · 14/07/2015 15:21

I have actually seen a couple of things I would wear Shock

I like the more subdued palette-the pine and marine colours. The trapeze and slouchy tops look good too.

The knitwear is very lacking this year though as are the accessories and shoes.
