dd1 (7) is soooooooooooo skinny. I bought her boden jeans with an adjustable waist at (for us) great expense and she has just gone out with dh with the jeans hanging down like someone out of Limp Biskit. What a bore. I cant send them back as I have washed them.

can anyone recommend GOOD jeans for a skinny but long legged 7 year old, she lives in jeans but NONE FIT her

My dd2 has a very skinny waist (actually both my dds do) but my mum managed to get some of those elastic belts so they wear those with trousers. I had to take a tuck in the belts though!

she refuses to wear a belt

maybe I will insist

actually she'd be happy in a burka as long as she could ride in it

hates the feeling of clothes and anything scratchy is OUT

ok i know this is the hieght of chavsville and Sooo not Mn but...... > Primark?

i cannot buy clothes for DS from there as the clothes are all to tall and skinny for him (he is a very solid -not fat- child and to get it to fit his waist they are 3 inches too long at the leg)

the clothes seemed to be designed for precisly your DD's shape. and they are all so incredibly cheap you can get more for your money

vertbaudet mail order are good and so are okaidi jeans from mothercare..i have the same problem with my 5 yr old dd so luckily she`s now into skirts!! m&s are way to big and so are next..but def try vertbaudet or la redoute

Miaou · 18/11/2006 09:40

Yes I think I had to insist on the belt with dd2 initially. It was pink and sparkly though so we were half way there

charliecat · 18/11/2006 09:41

order age up though...so age 8

Enid · 18/11/2006 09:45

fattymumma its worth a try as I am FED UP with blowing 25 quid on clothes that initially seem fine but then don't fit

actually I have remembered that the Gap long and lean ones are great for her but not available online

I've sent a washed item back to Boden before - just say that once it had been washed it no longer fitted the same.
At the very least I'm sure they'll give you credit.
