Nail polish to go with navy blue dress

hobnobsaremyfriends · 04/07/2015 21:55

I've only very recently become interested in nail polish so have no idea about what actually looks good Blush, so any tips would be appreciated!

I've a navy blue dress which is heavily embellished with silver and dark grey stones and threads Shock

I'm medium brown and can't figure out what kind of nail color to go for, dont want navy blue as it would be too matchy I think, and French manicure a bit boring?

Also not sure how silver would look with my complexion?

Could I got for something in contrast like coral or hot pink?

TIA

grey perhaps? I like Barry m chai for a cool grey, it's a good deep tone.

A shell colour or metallic pink.

Blood red.

Coral?

Orange or coral would look great with navy.

Geranium (on cusp of red and orange?)?

I love navy and coral together.

Red. I have a navy blue beaded dress and I always have red nails with it. Short red nails, I use a Rimmel/Kate Moss one which has a great flat brush so easy to apply.

I would get silver glitter gel nails and match the shoes and bag. Or do match your shoes, nails and bag in coral or pillar box red would look lovely too.

Orange.

fuchsia with glitter - very Bollywood.

Coral, orange, a shocking pink? Navy looks amazing with a pop of bright colour.

Thanks for the replies... I think coral seems good (and safe!) so I will go for it!
