Dilemma here... do I

a) Travel all the way to Oxford (about an hour) for this - the only one left in the South of England! at £75, also run the risk it doesnt fit (its a 16, im a 16... but you know how it is!)
b) Try and locate one of these although it might involve abit of travel aswell...
c) forget it

I think that they do have a lot of the same stock in different ones. Why not try ringing your nearest one to check?

I'd go to Oxford - the Next one seems to be sold out completely all over the country and I'd be surprised if you found one within a 1hr drive.

NB have you tried Principles concessions in JL and Debenhams?

rung every principles in the area... 2 left, one in London Regent Street, one in Oxford. Luckily its a 16... are principles sizes small though?

Might ring TKmaxx... could pop in on the way to Oxford... im so so scared ill get there and it wont fit.

I have a fear of velvet and can't look at it or touch it

this may of course inspire you to buy and wear not one but two velvet jackets just to keep me away

Have they got other similar ones in your local Principles, so you could go and try on a size 16 to see if it fits, before going to Oxford?
