What on earth am I supposed to do with my hair? (Wedding)

Hello, hope I've posted in the right place.

I had a Mohican hairstyle for a very long time and decided at the beginning of the year to grow the shaved parts in preparation for my wedding next month.

I've got a bit of a problem now though. The top part of my hair reaches my shoulder blades but the previously shaved parts are only about 6 inches long!

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do with it to make it look nice on the day? I can try and post a fairly anonymous picture if that's more helpful.

Thanks Smile

Get it all cut to match the shorter bits?

Trills · 28/06/2015 22:03

Or the sides are probably long enough to be put into some kind of updo.

Have you thought of going to a hairdresser? Confused

Kajamite · 28/06/2015 22:06

Sorry I should have said ideally I don't want to get it cut. I'm going to shave my hair for charity at the end of the year and want to have a fairly decent amount to shave off to make it worth people's donations!

I really like that updo. I'm just panicking a bit just now because I only have a month to decide.

It's my own fault though Sad

Curls! Pincurl the short bits (painfully easy, millions of YT tutorials) and put big curlers on the mohawk bit, and curl it down kind of 50s stylee, so you've got curling short hair, and a large sideways curling swathe, then some form of large flower?

My hair is less than 6 inches long and gets a bloody great curl out of a pincurl.

I just watched one of the pincurl tutorials. She makes it look so easy! It looks absolutely lovely though I might go for something like that.

I'll give it a go myself in the next week and see how it looks. Thanks!
