Make up, anyone got any tips onhow to cover over lumps, bumps, redness etc

I'm 41 and my skin isn't great, I've little visible veins, sometimes spots, un even colour etc. and dark circles.

I'd really like an even colour, I'm not an expert at applying makeup but not a complete novice, although about an hour after I've but it on, it looks as if I've not bothered.

I'm happy to buy expensive makeup, but not a makeup snob, so happy to by cheaper stuff too.

I'm currently using Macs mineral foundation, which I don't think has enough coverage, plus it's messy to apply.

Can anyone suggest what I should do, use?

Honestly, if you can afford it I'd look into seeing a dermatologist. Veins can be lasered and skin texture improved.

That said, I like Bare Minerals concealer, even though I don't use the rest of their stuff. The coverage is amazing.
