Help! Opinions needed IMMEDIATELY!!

I posted a few weeks back that I had a posh dinner to attend for work. Bought a dress then took it back. I'm packing for it now and have two choices. Which one is best?

Dinner is smart casual.

I like your mirror. Where did you get it? I think I'd like one in my spare room/soon to be walk-in wardrobey thing.

IMO whatever the hell I know the first one is too pale and washes you out. You look all boobs and tum, the second is 100% better.

The dark one without doubt. You have a gorgeous figure and there is nothing wrong with your arms at all! No diet required.
I do think though that you would look even nicer in dresses that have a lower v-neck neckline? It can be much more flattering for those of us with larger chests.

I'm probably too late but I think the floral one is more suited to your shape. I'm the same shape and I suit a v neck, not too much fabric on the hips etc

However because I can and I'm worth it, I still buy the dresses in the style of the lighter one if they come in a pretty fabric ;-)

Floral is lush! Striped would suit you with heavy tights and flats but not for heavy evening wear.

leccy the mirror is from a small local shop here in Liverpool, but I've seen loads online on blogs and stuff. It was about £30.

You're right about the neckline, the floral has a sort of mesh top to it which you can't see in the picture. I find V necks a bit too booby which either look a bit tarty or a bit matronly.

Oh and Gary the dress is from Very, I think from their So Fabulous range.
