So, I'm 26 weeks and getting pretty hefty...I don't live in the UK (I'm in Germany and shops here are rubbish) so have to shop online and I'm having real trouble finding a decent coat, or jacket which will see me through the winter. I've tried Next, Mothercare, ebay, Crave...

Quite fancy a parka-type but don't mind too much as long as it's cosy and will fasten up over my bump. There seems to be such a shortage of choice and it's annoying....I don't want a long length cardigan (already got one!).

Anyone have any ideas? All help gratefully received.

Thanks!

M&S have this (but in the usual M&S way, the photo's not great). They're a bit few and far between, aren't they. Maybe try Ebay?

I've just bought this from Evans. It's not a specific maternity coat but the shape can comfortabley accommodate a bump. The smallest size is a 16, which is my usual size, but even at 24 weeks it's still HUGE on me.

(profYaffle - try opening the link to the coat in a new window and linking that one)

Nope, tried that, still not working. From the home page go to Outerwear, smart and it's the swing coat. It's in the middle, black, £65.

Good call, anniemac. Didn't think of Top Shop. Was interested on my searches to see that Warehouse now also do maternity stuff (though no coats).

thanks for your replies....seems ridiculous to me that so many places that do maternity don't actually do coats or jackets - even Blooming Marvellous have zero options!

Have had a look at Top Shop and I quite like their stuff...

I didn't want to spend the earth and was 30+ weeks pregnant last winter. So I bought a wrap around shawl kind of thing. It was great because it carried on fitting no matter how huge I grew, and kept me really warm too.
