I've recently bought I bruin epilator, I've never used one properly before and I just attempted it but it hurts.

Can anyone recommend a numbing product or tips to help me?

I want to do my legs and eventually my bikini line due to getting a rash from shaving, been invited to a hot tub party next month and don't want to feel unattractive due to the rash.

Thanks girls ????

Shave your legs the day before and give them the once over every couple of days while you're getting used to it. It hurts more the longer it is. Its easier I the bath if its waterproof with a bit of shower gel foamed up to make it slippy. I don't feel it on legs and armpits now but bikini area is a bit scary

Well I didn't do it last night I was in a rush as hubby took me out to dinner with his friend n gfriend.
So I shaved, shall I leave it two days Then try?
I literally get stubble as fast as waking up next day feeling stubbly. I've had enough of it! Id rather do this once a week or something whilst I deep condition my hair and I'm waiting for it (30 mins minimum (I'm mixed raced so need to do this regular) probably another reason why my hair is thick? God I sound like a stubbly man lol

Two days sounds fine. I would get stubble by the night if I did it really early in the day. You're not alone. The hair on my head doesn't do so well. The thing about epilating is that once you're in the habit the regrowth doesn't feel like anything so a good going over once a week should do it after you've got past the start. Hair grows in stages so it hurts loads less after a while

Get professional waxing with hot wax a couple of times, then start with the re growth.
