I have lots of thin dresses like this that I don't have shoes for. Please help!

I'm a 4.5 UK, classic style, small heel but prefer a sandal maybe? I hate toe cleavage and don't need a wide fitting. I'm stumped, please help.

Some of the Clarks ones this year are very pretty and comfortable. There's a style called Sandcastle Art which I rather like - it comes in tan or white leather. And I think it looks smart but summery.

Thanks flighty but they're too clunky :(

I'm having trouble finding sandals too. I need an inch wedge at least, but not a narrowing one, and no proper ankle strap :( not having much luck!

Any of these?

Vandal have hardly any half sizes but thanks. They're nice mimi. I'll keep looking trip, let me know if you find anything before me!

I would just wear birkenstocks I think. They don't have a heel but have plenty of support, and all of their styles are pretty classic by now so hard to go wrong.

Picachew · 17/06/2015 11:13

Thanks greenstone, I really dislike them though, far too clunky.

I want dainty. :( I like dainty :)

m.boden.co.uk/Girls-9-16yrs-Shoes-Boots/Sandals/99066-SLV/Girls-9-16yrs-Silver-Metallic-Leather-Sandals.html I have these - they are girls but come in adult sizes.
No heel but very dainty, also very comfortable and versatile though.

Greenstone · 17/06/2015 11:27

Fair enough! To me that dress needs something slightly clumpy to balance out its daintiness, but I totally appreciate that that would not be everyone's cup of tea.

Any good?

They come in loads of colours, doesn't look like they do half sizes but might be worth a try on anyway, I'm a size 4 but often end up in anything between 3.5-5 in sandals depending on the brand.

Not sure how well-built/comfy they would be is the only thing, but I do think they'd go with most stuff.

Greenstone · 17/06/2015 11:28

Sorry - just read the toe cleavage thing. As you were!

lentilpot · 17/06/2015 11:29

I have a red pair of saltwater sandals and have found they go with everything. They are on their second spring / summer and still look brand new. They were comfy from the day I first wore them (unless I walk a REALLY long way on a hard surface) and I have worn them paddling in the sea with no damage.

TongueBiter · 17/06/2015 11:31

I'm wearing these Leeward sandals.

That dress is gorgeous btw.
