I am 5ft9 size 8 with a 'huge' tummy. I am to be Godmother to my niece in 3 weeks and want to find a nice summer dress that doesn't make me look pregnant but am genuinely cr*p at dressing up, am usually in jeans.
Don't even know where to start.
Please help
TIA

Asos shift

cute prom

sleeves

maxi

Any of those take your fancy?

Would this be too casual monsoon maxi?
You could add a little white shrug.

Their jersey maxis are very flattering.

There are some lovely dresses on the Little Mistress site too.

Ooh some good ideas there, I really like the very first one the ASOS Organza shift CMOT. I will have a good look through the ASOS site actually as I hadn't come across it before (told you I was bad at this :) ) My biggest worry would be are they ok for a 40 year old :)
The monsoon maxi is also nice too birkie and I might actually pop into a monsoon shop to see it.
Tks

Totally OK for a 40 year old Smile

Phase Eight is worth a look for dressy dresses and invest in Spanx or similar (although they are the best) to hold everything in.

I really love the prom and sleeved dress dibbler offered up!

Thanks for asking, I'm a 20 and I have a wedding in September, never heard of Asos curve before, but will definitely look there.

I don't think an 18 is particularly plus size but the ranges are good and there are lots of different styles to think about.

Measure yourself to check the sizing though as they aren't all the same - some of the Lindy Bop I'm a 20 and others I'd be a 22, so measure and check!
