It's great stuff. Just use very little and blend blend blend!!

frankietwospots · 15/06/2015 14:31

I use it every day. Just learnt that applying it in downward strokes under the eye and then blending is better than applying horizontally. It somehow doesn't sit in my lines as much.

I use this but be aware that the writing rubs off the tube quite quickly. It is recommended by make up artists. I use warm medium No. 3 which is good for skin with yellow/olive undertones. They also do cool medium which has more pink in it. Then I think there is a lighter and a darker one as well.

what colour does everyone have?
Am white but tanned

It's good but Rimmel in the red tub is far better imo.

NomiMalone · 16/06/2015 19:28

I'm usually in the lightest shade Teal but have bought the next one in colour as I have a wee bit of a tan. Ideally you want your undereye Concealer to be a smidge lighter than your skin for a brightening effect.

The Rimmel one is good Dame but the texture is no good for my slightly dry skin. I have to warm it up between my fingers and it doesn't always aplly nicely. The Collection one does, especially used with a Beauty Blender.

I've also just bought the Clarins Concealer in the wee beige bottle which I'm not hugely enamoured with. Hmph.

NomiMalone · 16/06/2015 19:30

Oh yeah and I hated the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Horrible dry chalky consistency. I sold it on EBay.

Can heartily recommend the UD Naked Concealer too. It's fab.

I have a concealer problem.

TealFanClub · 16/06/2015 20:02

I have clarins in a tube. I love

I'm all about the MAC Pro Longwear concealer. Comes in about 25 shades, covers dark circles under the eyes and well as blemishes, and once set doesn't budge or settle into fine lines. Amazing stuff!

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/06/2015 20:15

The Collection concealer is rumoured to be discontinued.

I'll be bereft if true!

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/06/2015 20:16

Clarins doesn't go pale enough for me sadly.

NomiMalone · 16/06/2015 20:18

Love MAC ProLongwear but it's a bit heavy duty for everyday wear and the pump dispenser drives me insane Angry .

The Estee Lauder Doublewear one is lovely too.

There's no way Collection will discontinue it. It will be their best selling product by about 900%. And they can't really compete with brands like Sleek and Makeup Revolution based on their other products.

Petal02 · 16/06/2015 20:25

This is the Collection product I swear by:

My other recommendation is Mac Prep & Prime highlighter in 'Light boost', which is a fab pale yellow shade. It neutralises dark circles:

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/06/2015 20:27

That's what I thought Nomi even though the woman in Superdrug told me it said 'discontinued' on their system. But that might just mean it's going through a packaging redesign.

Petal02 · 16/06/2015 20:55

I've checked the Boots website: it's saying 'out of stock online' but tells me that 25 of my nearest stores have it in stock.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 16/06/2015 21:15

Nomi - do you pay it on? I have mega dry skin and as long as I just tap on the concealer then pat it onto the skin it's perfect.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 16/06/2015 22:07

PAT!

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 16/06/2015 22:10

I hate the collection one. Bad colours and cakey as Jeff.

Love the Clarins instant light tube one though (only criticism would be that the colour range is really crap. 01 is fine for me but the3 shades aren't great for a wide range of skin tones.

The Nars one is also brill, loads of colours, moisturising and not cakey but still actually covers. I find it creases a bit more than the Clarins though but tbh, creasing is minimal on me.
