Is anyone else a huge fan of Barbara Daly make up form Tesco?

I have tried the Vital foundation and that was better than the Dior one I was using. The highlighter makes my skin look really fresh and just tried the Boom mascara. Brush is weird but only 2 coats and my lashes look false.
Wondered what other products people have tried in this range and what they thought

I llike the Vital Skin foundation. Used to use the Moisture Foundation before they reprimanded, but find the vvital skin is much nicer and more natural and healthy looking o(when my skin isn't bone dry, anyway!).

The cream blush I used to love but it's not the same now. The formula is more gel based, which would be fine, but the colours are different and not suitable. 'Peaches',which I thought would be the replacement for the old peaches and cream shade, is very pink :(

I use the mascara with the really thin wand, can't remember what tthat's called, and it's ok. Better than a lot of similar prices brands tbh Not tried the Boom one as I don't like the fake look. Still trying to find my holy gmail grail g mascara ho hum

Ps apologies for all the extra letters and words there, including the wrong words. My phone is doing something stupid adding them in or me starting to type and filling in,but it won't let me delete themConfused

The lip crayons are bloody brilliant :)

pugalicios · 14/06/2015 12:43

Will pick a lip crayon up next time I am in then. Yes the vital skin makes my skin look healthy and I am over 50

pugalicios · 14/06/2015 13:28

I have a favourite Barbara Daly nail varnish which is now about four years old, hasn't gone thick or gloopy, goes on well and lasts forever on toes. Can highly recommend.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 14/06/2015 16:10

I use to buy the powder and a clear varnish that had a blue to it to it which made your nails look incredible .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/06/2015 19:39

I bought an eye primer that is gorgeous .

Anyone remember the eyemake up 'pens' they were liquid with a brush. I had 'hazel' 'cobweb' and a pinky one . Nothing similar now Sad

The BD stand at our local Tesco Extra always seems half empty though.

pugalicios · 15/06/2015 07:33

Yes ours isnt very well stocked either

I'm still eeking out a BD lipstick called 'Rose', but have never been able to get any more. Neither of my local Tescos seem to have any BD stuff in.

Cheesymonster · 15/06/2015 13:19

I heard that they're discontinuing the brand. I love the primer.

pugalicios · 15/06/2015 16:30

Oh no! I had better stock up then

I swear by the primer and many other peoducts in the BD range.

My large Tesco Extra had a huge BD sale a few months ago, I managed to get £190 worth of products for £21!! Very happy (& well stocked) lady here!!
