£20 of hair vouchers - what would you get?

mum's giving me her £20 vouchers she won in a raffle cos she has her hair done at home, anyhow, just wondering what I should do with them,(apart from a hair cut)

are hilights/low lights better? do they cost v much to do? (am going to be bold this time I think and get all my hair chopped off - is currently just below the shoulder and straight) cos i've always played it safe with plain old hair styles. anyone know what styles are in/where u can get an online thingy you load your pic onto to test differnt styles out?

(can go to an extra £30 max so £50 in all)

This is a good site for ideas.

Hi-lights are light colours, lo-lights dark. It depends on the salon but £20 won't go far - you'll have to throw in your extra £30 and thats just for the colour, never mind the cut! It might be worth asking around friends etc whose hair you like where they got it done and going there.

Let us know what sort of length you want and I'll have a shufty for ideas.

didn't realise salons we're so expensive normally I have a girl come to the house! lol.

I like the last 2, but the main thing is the up keep, it would be a big shock as well cos i've always had at least should lenght hair!

lol, I know! ooh I like that one.

have asked mum to find out how much her lady charges for hi lights (she's not long qualified I don't think so is normally v reasonable) if it's ok i'll get the hi lights with her and cut at the salon.
