Flying visit to Bobbi Brown counter - what are the best items for a very natural look?

I've got the chance to pop to JL this afternoon with no children so want to try & get some BB make up with my bday money.
I want to start afresh with some new make up, just turned 40, but want a nice fresh natural look. Every time I ask for this at a counter I don't like it as the eye make up is always too much & too dark.
Anyone who uses BB, what are your recommendations please to achieve this look? I can probably start by buying 3 products.
Thanks

I would go for a base. I use Bobbi Brown CC cream on its own at the weekend, and under Skin Foundation during the week. If I were only buying 3 products I'd probably buy one or the other.

Second product, I'd buy a base eyeshadow - probably longlasting cream in champagne/bone/shore. Weekends I wear on its own with eyeliner, during the week as a base for my eyeshadow "look".

If I were building my look from scratch, I'd also want a blusher and a mascara. My favourites from BB are Lash Glamour mascara, and the Pot Rouge lip & cheek cream. But, I do think there are better out there for mascara (Lancome Hypnose, Origins Ginzing) and for blusher I am addicted to Nars.

If I were really treating myself then the brightening powder, or maybe a shimmer brick. A bit more practical/everyday, a gel liner or the longlasting pencil eyeliner, either brown or grey).

Most of my make up bag is Bobbi Brown. I am eyeing up the new nude palette while trying not to look at my existing nude palettes to convince myself I need it...
