So where can I buy trousers for 13+ boys who aren't man sized? (except M&S)

Next and Zara only go up to 13ish. I've bought men's shorts & t shirts from Primark for him as he has a long body, but trousers would be too long. He's only 12 but tall. He also hates shopping so I need to know where to go exactly!

H&M - they have a good teenage section. Other than that you're into "small man" territory, which TopMan is quite good at (small waists etc).

He's in 13-14 Zara but that's the biggest size. Thanks for the info about Next - they do that with woman's shoes too.

Primark have been surprisingly ok for tween sizes but you do gave to spend ages trying stuff on as you can't believe the labels at all! We found acceptable ( long skinny) jeans and even dress suit trousers when dS was 13-14.

Other than that yes m&s adjustable waist.

The Hollister website was the only place I could find jeans to fit that age. Their sale section is often good.

Jeans at Uniqlo are perfect for my v tall slim 13 year old. He's got a good belt now as the the places with adjustable waists (Gap, Next) aren't long enough in the leg now.
