Nightclub attire for a size 18?

Hello, I was hoping there may be some wonderful ideas out there as I am absolutely clueless. Off to a hen do and there is a night booked in to go clubbing. I've not been clubbing since pre-children (4+yrs ago) and I am certainly not the size I was before either.

I'm really struggling with my weight at the minute and am a size 18/20 and have not a clue what to wear. I've always been generously chested and the current skater dress styles in all the stores are no good at all, they all give me a huge mono boob and my chest ends up pulling the dress up so high, it's mega knicker showing short.

I thought about jeans and a top but when I tried it on my DH agreed my fear it looks too casual and not dressy enough. I'm also pretty tall, (5ft10) so dressing things up with heels usually make me monstorously tall and tower above all around me...

Check out ASOS Curve. Loads of cool stuff on there. I'd go with black slim jeans and a really sparkly top in a relaxed fit. Can't lose.

Jeans with heels and a going out top. Dotty ps had some lovely ones in store a few months back. Check their website. I see a lot of people going out in jeans etc. I think it's the going out shoes and accessories that make it.

Thank you both, a lovely idea. I will stop looking at dresses and concentrate on tops more! That sparkly top is stunning but afraid a high round neck is never a flattering fit for my boobs. Same thing as the skater dress, pulls the top up lots and make my chest really huge looking. Typically in the day I wear scoop vests and layer with scoop neck tshirts or cardigans, don't think I'll get away with that though...

Yy to black jeggings. I would wear with a cami top and dressy kimono.

I think you should still consider a dress! It will feel a bit special for a big night out. Plus, if it fits well you won't have to worry about tugging and adjusting. I like these three. I would do big earrings with the first one and big necklaces with the other two.

I'm exactly the same as you except 6 foot 1. I wear heels from time to time, I rationalise it by saying me and everyone else will be too drunk to care. Which I find true! (And find loads of tall gay bffs helps too).

I love wearing jeans and a fancy top. But failing that, as cheap as it sounds I LOVE matalan. Most of my dresses are from there.

Also, don't be bothered what size you are. I'm the same size as you, a lot taller and 2 great looking guys tried to give me their numbers last time I was out (couldn't accept due to relationship) but it felt good :) in the end nobody cares about your size but you. So love it!
