Hi, my dp reckons I'll get all the advice I could ever want for buying clothes here.

i've recently started a new job for a high level medical company. It's very corporate and in stark contrast to my previous life as a scaby NHS worker. They've given us a new car, phones lap tops etc...

Where can I get good quality business clothing that won't mean the kids have coal in their stockings this christmas. i have to stay away from home approximately once a week and I'm really struggling with smart casual evening wear. i really don't like to wear shirts and suits all night having been in them all day.

I'd never even thought about clothing when I went to the interview and dp's going nuts at my drab scruffy and uninspired wardrobe.

M&S stuff generally lasts & lasts. It might not be the most exciting stuff around, but if you buy some fairly neutral, classic stuff, you can keep getting it out every year and update with cheaper tops / accessories from H&M, Top Shop etc.

I've got work trousers & a couple of tops I've had for years, and they still look fine, and as good as new.
