Miss Dior the perfume

I hear they have changed it. I have never smelt the original. I have the new one. Its taken me a while to like it but now i really do. Loving the muskiness of it. The miss dior original has caught my interest though. I hear its much nicer. Can anyone tell me what its like? Is it nice? is it like any other scent? What is the predominant scent? Is the dry down nice?

Yes, old Diorella was better. Why do they muck around with things that work?

I would happily sign an oakmoss allergy disclaimer if I could get the original formulas back (agree about Diorella. Spoilsports.)

Apparently only 2 in 1000 people have any allergic reaction.

I have a little bottle of vintage Diorella and love the freshness with a skanky base, it's got a gorgeous wrongness about it. Current Diorella smells like lemon toilet duck. Most classic perfumes have been reformulated but the consensus among perfume lovers is that the Diors have been particularly ruined

nettle - I hate it when good things are mucked about, so feel your pain, but just wanted to say ... the allergic reaction issue isn't just about you. It's anyone coming into contact with you - so, you only have to come into contact with 500 people in a day for it to be a problem.

I wish they'd put more money into developing good substitutes, rather than pushing the sickly-sweet stuff that just doesn't do it.

That was my first grown up perfume and recently I've been thinking I'd like to try it again. It's been years since I had a sniff.
