Any experience selling (and buying) with Vestiaire Collective?

I've recently had a wardrobe clear out, and have started selling / giving some stuff away. Maternity and children's clothes have generally gone fairly quickly on local Facebook sites, but I've not had much luck with my own non-maternity clothes, unless at really low prices (nothing for more than around £15).

I've now put up a few things on Vestiaire Collective, and it looks really easy to use, and some nice stuff on there too! However, I've seem a lot of negative reviews online, and was wondering what people's experience are of them? I should say that I only have mid-range brands like APC, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Kurt Geiger! Hobbs, coach etc but some of them unused which is why I'd like to sell for a better price.

Are there any better altenatives? I'm really put off by the hassle of ebay...

Hi OP just come across your post. Any luck selling on Vestiaire? I have sold a few items with them and find it quite easy. The commission is high but as things seem to be set at higher prices than ebay it works out better (designer items sometimes don't always sell well on ebay for some reason) If you use ebay just sell as BIN or start auction at your minimum, you might need to relist a few times but nice items do usually sell in my experience.

Local consignment shop?

I've bought and sold on there without any problems, some of the reviews are awful but I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went.
