Odd Fashion Statements?

I've recently noticed random well dressed men wearing bright red socks. Does it indicate something? Is it some type of fashion/social statement?

Who else has seen an odd fashion statement, and what was it?

I saw a young woman wearing sky-printed tights today - you know, clouds and blue sky.

They looked frightful.

There is a lady at work who wears canary yellow opaque tights. She wears them all the time, no matter what other colours she has on the rest of her body.

There is a girl at uni we are all obsessed with because she dresses so uber.

Yesterday was footless black opaque tights with a lip print on them worn with a miniscule grey sweater dress and a grey cardigan. And ankle boots.

My fave outfit is the teeeeny mini skirt with footless bright yellow tights and a bright yellow t-shirt with a bright yellow cardi and royal blue stilettos. Ahhhhh.

Isn't she FREEZING in those get-ups, smurf?!

I saw a girl at a bus stop wearing a short skirt, grey semi-pulled up thick leggings with high-heeled black strappy sandals.
Looked ridiculous.

I'm filled with admiration for individuality and creativity expressed via personal appearance/clothing. Sometimes different is fabulously quirky and inspired, and sometimes it's just odd.

I suspect the red socks I spoke of are a toff's misguided attempt at eccentricity.

there's a woman who goes on the tube from Belsize Park everyday who wears a bowler hat.

I bet red sock man also had a bright lining on his suit.
