Boden Boys' Trousers?

Any recommendations for DS (3). We've never had their trousers before.

I like the look of the lined skate pants, but am wondering how they're worth £26

Actually we have had the tartan baggies. I think they shrunk in the drier.

My 3 year old DS has the Boden tartan baggies & they are great. They wash really well, are lovely & soft & are so easy for them to put on themselves.
Bought DS's in the sale for half price.

Age 2-3 baggies fit my 3.7 year old DS perfectly, but he is a little on the small side!

ds has some of their trousers, and they have worn really well. One pair of cord baggies is in its third winter (they were a bit long the first year, and a bit short now!), and they still don't look really worn out.Ds loves them, and they are just great, basic trousers that go with everything. He also has some tartan baggies which he loves, but agree I don't like this year's cargo ones, the ordinary elasticated waist ones were better.

Pinkchampagne · 09/11/2006 22:00

Didn't realise they were carg ones now. My DS has the elasticated variety!
He also has some Boden cord trousers & they wash really well too.

SoMuchToBits · 09/11/2006 22:07

They are worth the money for me, because when ds has grown out of them, they are still in good enough condition to sell on ebay, and I usually get at least a third of the cost back, if not more.

DS 2.5 has several pairs of Boden trousers this winter. He is wearing 2-3 which fit well in the cord baggies but slightly bigger in the lined jeans and lined skate pants. All fit at the waist but some are longer in the leg. I think they are definitely worth the money - v hard wearing and they do not fade. The lined ones are particularly warm. Expensive at £26 though but I think I got 20% off everything at the start of the season. Tops are also very good quality.

I find their sizes on the big side.

Well he is the only boy for the moment. I guess I could re-sell on ebay

DD2 has stuff which DD1 wore. Story of her life, really whilst DS gets everything new. There are no other boys either side of the family!

I find them all very wide and big round the bum (and DS's bum is not at all small...) - wonder if for 3 years old they still make them big enough to accommodate nappies?
