Acid toner -should my skin feel tight 24 hrs later

Hi

I have mild rosacea so I'm introducing the CH steps slowly. I've been doing cleanse, serum and moisturiser for a week and I think I've seen a little improvement.

Yesterday am I used a nip and fab glycolic pad. Today my skin feels a little drier and tighter than it had. The redness doesn't look any worse.

Is this normal when you start with acid tone or so I need to step away?

Thanks

I avoid toners for the same reason,I don't care what the lovely CH saysGrin

No, that's not normal. Not everyone needs it, but you might benefit from a hydrating spritz toner after to neutralise the acid effect once it's done it's job, and to get some more moisture. Nothing fancy. Boots do one for a couple of quid in clearish bottle with green lid that's water, glycerin and aloe. Should be fine for your skin type. Decant into a spray bottle.

I would second the hydrating spritz and would also look into one of the milder acid toners like REN.

Maybe use a moisturising toner like bodyshop vit e toner after your acid toner.
