He said "flicky would look nice" so now I have a head shaped like a child's drawing of a Christmas tree

ooh is it like madonna's?

HumphreyFlump · 09/11/2006 12:37

Best thing in these situations is to just 'go with it', F&Z!

Perhaps design some festive decorations to bedeck your swanky new 'do'?

doggiesayswoof · 09/11/2006 12:39

Hey don't worry, it won't look the same when you do it yourself. I quite often wash my hair as soon as I get home from hairdresser's.

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2006 12:40

Well I thought Madonna when he said it

However this would look better on a drag queen I think

dp is going to choke himself laughing, unless I can be arsed to sort it out before he gets home

stick a few baubles in it and a bit of tinsel

and there you go

go for some fairy lights too

you will be the talk of the town

doggiesayswoof · 09/11/2006 12:45

Madonna looks like a drag queen herself though

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2006 12:46

at least I have the body to go with it

straight and knobbly

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2006 12:46

Ah don't drag Madonna down with me (no pun intended)

she looks alright

It was the trainee. I asked him how long he had been doing it and he said "4 weeks". Cue appalled Franny. He said "Don't worry, I was a hairdresser before.....just a really bad and sloppy one."

I think he needs to work on his customer relations, perhaps

Actually, I think the cut is probably very nice, and I did tell him to do "something different" with the blow dry. It's just that I can't be arsed to wash it for at least 3 days so I will look like a Christmas tree or....what's those long haired posh dogs called? a red setter?...until then

bung some carmen rollers in it and you can be all glam

MamaG · 09/11/2006 13:02

throckenholt · 09/11/2006 13:04

does DS like it ? (did he cope with nursery ?)

Flamesparrow · 09/11/2006 13:04

lol - I sat and watched that celebrity hairdresser thing last night... are you sure he wasn't one of them??

It'll be fine by the time you wash it yourself.

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2006 13:08

Ds was too tired to notice!

He was fine, thank you

I can't be arsed to do a pic. Just think of a big flicky blonde Christmas tree and that's it.

I bet you did go to Celeb Scissorhands. I'll watch tonight to see if there is a Christmas Tree head rambling about mooncups and wnaky baskets

indignatio · 09/11/2006 13:13

Did you ever seen the film Georgie Girl ? As soon as she came home from the hairdressers she would stick her head in a bucket of water.

southeastastra · 09/11/2006 13:14

i was thinking that, did steve strange do it! he seems a little jittery

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2006 13:17
