How can bravissimo justify...

...charging so much???

Looking through the catalogue - the tops and the wrap dress I love, but there is no way I can afford them. It seems so mean that they make out they are helping the large of nork, when they are just ripping us off.

Large norked shaped clothing at high street prices is needed (that shirt linked to the other day is the only thing I have seen).

Their t-shirts are pretty expensive for what they are too. I went and looked at some in the shop and thought they were pretty shabbily made and in cheapy looking material.

TheHighwayCod · 09/11/2006 10:19

god but hte clothes are much nicer this year i htink

themoon66 · 09/11/2006 10:20

Gotta be the perfect cut wrap and just the right bra to avoid divide and seperate.

Actually love Bravissimo stuff (apart from cheapy t-shirts). Since discovering them, I've actually worn bikinis for the first time in my life! Although I do wait for their sale to buy them.

hoxtonchick · 09/11/2006 10:51

abso-bloody-lutely. distracts attention from my tummy!

MarsLady · 09/11/2006 10:51

So how much are bravissimo charging for a wrap dress?

Flamesparrow · 09/11/2006 11:12

£49, when you can get a similar non-nork specific one in H&M or somewhere for £20-£30.

I'm just penniless anyway and bitter . I resent having to spend £25 on a bra when others can get em for £5 in new look sales.

I mean, £32 for a strappy top?? I know it has the inbuilt support, but still £32?????

It is, which is why I am so annoyed... it can't take that much more effort to make the nork specific type, so it is wrong to charge nearly double the amount because they know the large of nork will shell out just to be able to wear something that fits properly

katzg · 09/11/2006 11:29

i'm hoping that Brastop will have them soon!! they had the strappy tops earlier in the year for £15 which is cheap.

PandaG · 09/11/2006 11:36

Agree they are expensive, but love my Bravissimo strappy top - justified it myself by saying it was a bra as well as a top. Would be deilghted to get some cheaper though.

Fauve · 09/11/2006 11:50

Are the staff any good at helping you get a good fit? That would make a difference IMO (if in a shop, obv).

hoxtonchick · 09/11/2006 11:53

they are brill in the bravissimo shops fauve. you ask for a fitting & they bring loads of stuff for you to try on. they don't even measure, just keep trying 'til they get a good fit (there's a big difference between different brands ime).

Fauve · 09/11/2006 11:57

Thanks, hc. I've been afraid to go! (Well, it is a bit of a trek) But now I will.

hoxtonchick · 09/11/2006 12:04

honestly, it'll change your life!
