refuses to call them a sweater

I had one last year, not so convinced etc. Got a large that wasnt very large...
HOWEVER, I ventured back in to the sale ( and bloody wished I had used ThANKME to get 20% off and free postage) and got a charcoal one that i LOVE. And the sizing seems to be better Smile

I have two and am cross with myself. They are totally unwashable which is inexcusable as my boden ones are the same but machine washable, AND my tippis bobbled.

Noooooo

Yup, hand wash them and they smell like wet dog. Not nice.

I like the two I bought but I'm 5ft and a medium is too small. Would hate to be taller.

They are not better than my Uniqlo merino ones and they were a third if the price.

DuchessDisaster · 15/05/2015 10:05

Never bought woollens from them, but did buy a jacket, it was vile and I sent it back.
I don't see the point of 3/4 sleeves on ANYTHING, but especially not on a jumper.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/05/2015 10:06

I love mine, but I'm way too stingy to pay full price. What makes them better than Uniqlo for me is the length/cut. I'm long bodied but short waisted and the shortness of the Tippis helps balance me and my stumpy legs out. I have Uniqlo ones too and they are better value, but the wrong shape for me. Haven't tried Boden but I wouldn't be too confident that they would be a nice slim cut. Going to try Gap once they start doing merino crew necks again in the A/W.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/05/2015 10:54

I wash mine with woolite on a cold wool wash and they're fine with no bobbling.

PrimalLass · 15/05/2015 11:17

What is the sizing like? I am a 12-14.

BadgersArse · 15/05/2015 17:13

A L if you don't want clingy

I have a long-sleeved Tippi cardigan which I love for summer. I wish they had the jumper with long sleeves too. I don't mind handwashing, and tbh most of my merino stuff smells like wet dog when wet. Grin

Have Boden stopped doing their Tippi-alike? I bought one a couple of years ago and love it but it needs replacing and I can't see similar on their website this year. Have I missed something? Can someone please link if it still exists! Thanks!

Oh God no! I think the jumper I have is cotton. That's hideous ... not surprised it's in clearance! Grin

Thanks Badgers.
