Bodycon(?)/fitted dress for those who are larger of hip

I'm after a fabulous dress for a party. Usually wear more loose fitting dresses but this time I would like something fitted, for a change.

The problem I have is a size 8 waist and size 10 hips - fitted dresses tend to fit my hips perfectly but come up baggy on the waist, or fit the waist but are too tight on the hips (and ride up, giving that unfortunate fold of fabric!).

Does anyone have any recommendations for brands that might fit my shape better? Ideally somewhere with a shop I can walk in to and try the dresses on, but I wouldn't discount online. TIA!

Try Diva - there is a huge variety online but lots of places stock them too. They often have really well placed ruching and sculpt lumps and bumps. Might seem pricey if you were hoping for a cheeky 40 quid effort but they are very impressive quality and can be accessorised to many looks.
