I am so tempted to have a Pob cut

Please talk me out of it.

I have been growing my hair for what seems like years and I know I will regret it.

However whenever I see someone with a gorgeous dark brown Pob with natural looking highlights and choppy bits I get so

Well....I'm thinking of having mine cut.

Not a POB. But a Lisa Butcher type cut.

I'm beginning to feel a bit muttony with long hair. b

Yeah I feel like that too Puddle.

Quite like the idea of chopping it all off and it being in good condition.

OTOH I do like "hiding" behind my hair when I am feeling rough lol and also putting into a ponytail for the gym, when I am running late etc

cali ~ yeah that's the one

I think the pony is not always a good thing though. I scrape mine back instead of making an effort with it.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 08/11/2006 21:31

erm...what's a pob?

NOOOOO!! Straggly bits at front would need trimming every two weeks or so.

I saw her on TV recently though and the back was lovely.

Blossomhill · 08/11/2006 21:42

This isn;t a VB baching but I don't think she is pretty at all but I love the way she carries herself with her clothes, hair etc

Sigh, to have money eh?

and dont forget it depends on your hair, if youve got fine hair like poshs its ok but if you have thick hair with a wave like mine it will look crap. i had a similar cut in january and its taken me this long to grow it back into a normal bob

Blossomhill · 08/11/2006 21:47

7up ~ yep my hair is thick too

No, get a nice choppy bob with highlights - the bits at the front would go straggly. You could go for a slight angle but not as extreme as posh's IMO. Then you would know whether you liked the idea and you could go for it properly next time if you were sure. Actually, looking at that picture of her makes me want to chop the hangy bits off at the front...

doggiesayswoof · 09/11/2006 10:55

and you would need the GHDs to get the same look I think.

NomDePlume · 09/11/2006 10:55

I have one

But in my defence I had it BEFORE Posh, she nicked it from me

i had mine like that before her. Now everyone thinks i'm copying the old bint

NomDePlume · 09/11/2006 11:13

mine is a bit longer than hers though...

katierocket · 09/11/2006 11:14

Everytime i see that it makes me think of that rubbish children's character from years ago. It was on Channel 4 and used to spit on the screen - was called Pob

Mumpbump · 09/11/2006 11:14

I often used to have my hair cut like that and was just about to do it again when they published the stories so have decided not to because I don't want people thinking I'm copying her... Irritating!
