Does black go with.....

bright hot pink?
Because if not then my dp is right and I have made a fashion boo-boo.

I have a black short sleeved, cowl neck jumpery-thing that is intended to be layered with something underneath. So I teamed it with a tight fitting hot-pink sweater.

Can't decide whether to ever wear this combination again....feel a bit rubbish after dp's critcism.

So should I find something else to go with the black top then?

I wouldn't do it - black with colour can be v harsh and draining and [whisper] can make you look haggard.
Try putting it with grey, or dark teal, or deep plum - something that's a bit less of a violent contrast.

(I have given up wearing black since I realised how old and tired it made me look)

Trinny and Susannah say NO to black with colour too.

I agree about black draining you, but my wardrobe is full of it

One thing I remember T& S saying too, which I thought was right enough - no black with colour.
