Silly old footner face

AvaCrowder · 12/05/2015 22:36

My face has been feeling really bunged up. I have lots of under the surface spots that I can't pick.

I used footner on my feet a couple of weeks ago, and wished that I could do the same on my face...

So tonight I wiped my face with the insides of the spare footners, I didn't wrap it, so I could feel the alcohol in it evaporate.

Then I left the residue on for an hour, and washed it very carefully.

I am expecting to peel in the next week or two and have a perfect complexion.

TheDiet Purederm exfoliating foot mask

AvaCrowder · 19/05/2015 10:34

Grin it still hasn't done anything.

Though I think my skin is calmer, it may be just because I have been taking better care of it generally.

Certainly not the dramatic result I had on my feet.

I bought mine from Amazon because I'm not in the UK. That's why I got two, to save on p&p.

So far no harm done.

Have you been moisturising your face? Because it says not to use moisturiser until after the peeling is done. Maybe that's saved your face from dropping off.

AvaCrowder · 19/05/2015 15:43

Yes I have. And SPF 50 almost everyday.

I didn't really follow the Footner instructions at all!

Understatement of the year. Wink

Wagglebee · 19/05/2015 15:52

That was supposed to be a grin face not a creepy winking one.

Outwith · 19/05/2015 19:30

Very funny thread Grin.

So, should I buy some footner for my feet then? Is it amazing?

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes · 19/05/2015 20:21

yes outwith if do a footner search you should get some threads that people posted pictures of the peeling process but save your money and buy from amazon instead of OTT priced ones from boots

ememem84 · 19/05/2015 20:24

I really want to try footner. But it sort of grosses me out if my feet will fall off. I'm no tights-ing already so will it be noticeable if I'm at work...?

SnotQueen · 19/05/2015 20:27

Ok next step: Footner your foof

AvaCrowder · 19/05/2015 20:36

snotqueen my foof hasn't been bunged up for a long time.

Grin

No photos of Footner'ed foods, I am begging you!

There's a sentence I never thought I'd write

PacificDogwood · 19/05/2015 20:45

foofs

It seems autocorrect does not approve either Hmm

JoanHickson · 19/05/2015 20:52

I am glad your face survived.

SnotQueen · 19/05/2015 20:54

I can see it on the front of Take a Break:
I Footnered my Foof and now I have a Latin Toyboy

AvaCrowder · 19/05/2015 21:56

Autocorrect is like the Mary Whitehouse of the day. Prissy.

I still want a new face. It seems that I have cystic acne and I'd like it to vanish just for a couple of years before the wrinkles set in.

Back to the drawing board then.

Go see your GP - tell them you're looking for treatment for your acne, but don't tell them about the Footner escapade Grin

MrsFlorrick · 20/05/2015 10:02

Ava. If you don't want to take antibiotics, you could get Differin gel for the acne/bunged up skin. It's very good for that.
There are lots of other options but the differin really helps smooth the face. It's a synthetic Retin A derivative.

LtheWife · 20/05/2015 10:43

Do go to your GP for help with acne if over the counter treatments aren't working. There's plenty of things they can try you on from certain contraceptive pills and antibiotics to topical retinoids. And if none of that works/is unsuitable they can refer you to a dermatologist for roaccutane. I know a lot of people are scared of roaccutane (I know I was and put it off for years), but if you're at the stage of thinking footnering your face is a good idea then it's definitely worth considering!

AvaCrowder · 21/05/2015 12:14

Thank you for your helpful messages, I think I will make an appointment to see what can be done in a more orthodox manner.

I'm not the only mad one to have thought of this. I've footner-ed my feet 3 days ago. Still waiting for results. I do have another pack sitting here. Dare I footner my hands...?

Sorry. Try this link.

Go to your Dr and get some tablets.

The acid toner won't be helping at all.
