Calf length boots that aren't too wide at the top

I know it's the wrong season to ask about boots but my favourite boots have just got a hole in the toe I find it really hard to find calf length boots that are narrow enough for me - I usually look like I've stuck my legs in boats! Any idea if there's any brand that's particularly narrow? Or if there's any way to patch up the hole in the toe?

Hi, I have some knee highs by Gabor that are fab. I have chicken legs and the slim fit is perfect and also comes in half sizes. They do some older styles but also some modern looking ones!
