I've just lost quite a bit of weight (2 1/2 stone) and I'm in desperate need of new trousers for work.

I'm an definite apple shape and measure a size 10 on my hips but size 14 waist according to the sizing on the next website.

I was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of shops that tend to cater for that build rather than the pear shape. I'm looking at the cheaper end of the market as I want the trousers for work as as I work in a science lab, they often get ruined.

In the past I use the Next warehouse shop near us but I tend to notice that next trousers never fit that well and end up being really baggy around my bottom if I get them to fit my waist.

I know several shops in the more expensive bracket that have trousers that fit me well.

I am also Apple shaped. I find Sainsbury's trousers and jeans a good fit, Dorothy Perkins are not too bad either.

I hadn't thought about sainsbury's as rarely go there now. I used to live close to one and did my weekly shop there and would browse the clothese at the same time. I bought quite a lot of their clothes for work which tended to fit well.
A trip to sainsburys might be on the cards.
