I like a good coverage but all the foundations I have tried leave me with shiny, oily skin after an hour or so. Even with powder on top!

Any recommendations? I have about £20.

Ysl touché éclat foundation hopeless on my oily combo skin.

I have a sample of Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Velvet and it is seriously good. It is very thin, but a little goes a long way. It minimises my pores and I find that I don't have to powder my nose and forehead more than one a day (whereas with other foundations, it was often every hour). I am going to hot foot it to Chanel once my sample is used and buy a full size bottle. It is over your budget by a tenner or so, but well worth it, I think. I was drawn to it after seeing Ruth Crilly rave about it on A Model Recommends website. She does a close up of before and after on her pores- it is impressive!

What's your skin like in general? And where are you getting oily?

I've got the Double Wear Light by Estee Lauder, the colour is amazing but as the weather gets warmed it's no good, it melts off.

I get shine on my nose no matter how what foundation or powder I use. I don't think you can eliminate it completely if you have oilier skin, don't waste your money trying loads of different foundations.

I actually find the double wear light really stays put even in warm weather. My skin isn't really oily though.

I don't have massively oily skin, but the bits that do sometimes get oily is my forehead and cheeks. Every foundation I have tried goes shiny looking even with a powder on top!
