Versatile pair of everyday flats wanted for arkward feet

I have some birthday money left over, and I'd really like a nice pair of comfortable flats. I can never seem to be able to find any to fit my feet (size eight, long toes, skinny, dancers feet).

Has anyone got any recomendations? I'd like a ballet or a lofer type of shoe that will go well with skinny jeans and casual skirts. I've got a budget of up to £40/50.

You won't want my opinion so you'll probably discount it but .............

Long skinny feet + long skinny toes+ dancers feet (whatever the size).

Take your money and run as quick as you can from ballet pumps.
They offer bugger all support and you'll either have to claw your toes to keep them on or they will need to be so tight you'll get pressure areas.
If they're flat (and I'm guessing with your foot type you don't have much of an arch) you'll end up over pronating and strain all your muscles and your knees.

You need a slight wedge and something to hold them on .

I own a pair of feet much like yours and I've been a qualified NHS Podiatrist since 1988. Smile

No that's fine, whenever I have worn ballet pumps it's never been a pleasant experience. I was hoping that someone would have a style that I could perhaps wear. At the moment, I live in my converses and wanted something a casual but smart option.

I love my Converse but they are so flat inside too , my poor heels feel bruised after all day wearing.

Maybe something like Sketchers? ( I need to look at their shoes IRL, having narrow feet , I can't just buy what I like Sad ) Sketchers "GoWalk" are popular.

There was a lovely shoe I bought a while back, had an elastic side and quite a high upper, but when I washed them (they were machine washable) they shredded my heels. I had to drive home in bare feet after wearing them .

I'm still searching myself for The Shoe

I bought a pair of lovely clarks brogues in shiny patent leather and they're lovely. The most comfiest shoes I've owned are granny hush puppies.

Following. Sigh. Sadly no useful suggestions - I have similar feet but they're also wide at the front and narrow at the back which is an utter b*tch. I had some really good ballet pumps from gap a few years back which were elasticated but also had padded soles. But I've pretty much worn them out [sa
