Help me find a smart top to disguise a 20-month pregnancy bump!

I've got an interview when I'll be 20 weeks pregnant. DC2, so I've already got a noticeable bump at 17 weeks. I'm planning on some smart black cigarette-leg trousers and want to find a black top that doesn't show off my bump. Planning on wearing a light-coloured blazer on top of that, undone. Don't want to wear a scarf as I think that'll look too fussy. Does this all sound ok?

I will be standing up giving a presentation for half an hour as part of my interview, so it's not like it'll mostly be hidden behind an interview desk, or anything.

This top from Seraphine looks ideal, but it's out of stock in my size. Can someone help me find something similar, or another alternative?

I clicked on this because I was intrigued by the 20 month pregnancy and wanted to be the first to congratulate an elephant for joining mumsnet and managing to tap out a post with her trunk.

Haha I thought it was a funny way of talking about that post baby weight gain! Good luck with your interview!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant with slight bump - agree that you need a dark top in a relatively loose fit.

John Lewis stock seraphine and I think they sell that top (I saw in in aqua). Otherwise Isabella Oliver have some looser tops and a good range of colours.

Oops! Freudian slip - I feel about 20 months pregnant!

Have a look at Topshop drape wrap front blouse from their non maternity range. Probably long & drapey/ baggy enough to hide a 20 week bump. Comes in navy, khaki & black as well as some paler colours. Can't link on phone.

Is this the one you mean works? If so, looks great. Shame it doesn't come in black, but I can buy some navy trousers to go with and that would probably work better with the cream/beige linen blazer I'm planning on wearing.

Yes that's one of them, they do a similar sleeveless version in black and definitely used to do a long sleeved version in black too (last year) - May be on ebay. If you are near a big/flagship store it might be worth checking in there too for stock. There is a maternity version too but it's baggy/huge.

I think a maternity specific top might be too big around the bunp atm and accentuate it more.
I have this from Matalan, here and fitted a 30 week bump under, I think it would disguise a bump quite well

I also have this in a different colour here which would also be good for bump disguising. I have worn it pregnant and it did look smart.

Great, thanks! Might order both TS and Matalan ones and see which work best.

Or something patterned to distract the eye?

Not sure if you are near a Primark but they also had similar but cheaper (and cheaper looking) wrap front tops a la Topshop.
