Am desperate for a pair yet can't seem to find the right pair. Have actually seen the "right" pair in Russell and Bromley at £185 - they are divine but as i'm not going to wear them often, dont really want to pay that.

Have seen ones in Kurt geiger, faith, nine west and principles but are either too pointy, too patent or just not right. any suggestions?

it says 5 and a half inside them. dh says the heels are just over 2 ins.

i just had a look at the clarks website and saw a lovely pair called the 'emmenthal' which are not 3 ins tall but smart and another called Floss which is higher and also smart. both £40
