Is there such a thing as a comfy bra?

I've been fitted ( correctly) but despite this, never seem to find a truly comfortable bra. Love the feel of non wired but at 40D there just isn't enough support. Is there anything out there with the feel of non wired but with good support?

Are you quite short (either short in general, or short bodied/long legged? That can cause problems where if the wires are in the right place you run out of armpit space, and if the armpit is right the wires are too low! Can also happen if your bust is just quite high set on your torso.

It doesn't sound like the Cleo is too small in the cups, but what it might be is a little too shallow at the bottom. That can also cause problems where your breasts struggle to get right to the bottom of the cup. I'm wondering if it would be worth you trying the Cleo Lily/Millie/Minnie (same bra, different fabrics) as it is a little narrower, more closed on top and has a bit more depth in the bottom of the cups. Sometimes people need to size up a tad in it but from your description I'd start with your Marcie size. Have a look at mycurvesandme or amazon for bargains

The custom Ewas aren't too bad price wise - I think they work out at about £40ish. So a bit more than your standard UK bra but not 2 or 3 times the price

I'm a dress size 18/20. Tried finding a tape measure but the hooligans have obviously had it at some point & it's no longer in my sewing kit!!!

You really need to measure. I'm a 14/16 and a 32 band (when not pregnant). 40 sounds big to be but I'm not an expert.

Dig out that tape measure and post your measurements. If you're having any kind of discomfort I'd bet you must be bigger in the cup than you think.

Apparently I have short shoulders. My sister and some of my aunties do too. We often have to shorten the straps on dresses and tops so we're not showing our bra!

£40 isn't bad at all, I was expecting a lot more. I'll buy the lily next month then look into custom when I've lost weight. Thank you! :)

I'm a 16 and measure 33 underboob. Currently wearing a Debenhams Gorgeous in a 34 which are known for being on the tight side.
